Refund Policy
Last updated: May 29, 2026We stand behind our service and want you to be happy with it. Below we lay out exactly when you qualify for a refund, how the process works, and how long it takes.
When You're Entitled to a Refund
Refund eligibility under our one-time per-event pricing depends on your event's lifecycle:
- You paid but haven't created an event yet: full refund within 14 days of payment.
- You created an event but no guest has scanned the QR or uploaded media yet: full refund within 7 days of payment.
- After the first photo, audio note, or message is uploaded: no refund, as the service has been used.
Cases Not Eligible for Refund
Expired storage windows, missed event dates, internet connectivity issues, and user-error data loss are not covered. Our support team will help you find alternatives in those cases.
How to Request a Refund
Starting a refund takes a couple of minutes:
- Email info@dugunqr.com with subject "Refund Request — [event name]".
- Include the transaction ID from your payment confirmation email and a short note (optional).
- Our support team responds within 1 business day and, if eligible, initiates the refund via Paddle.
Refund Timeframe
Approved refunds are processed by our payment provider Paddle and typically appear on your card within 3-10 business days. The exact window depends on your bank and card type; international cards may take up to 14 days.
Payment Processor
Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited (Merchant of Record), based in the United Kingdom. Paddle appears as the seller of record, and your bank statement will show 'PADDLE.COM'.
